3 Cheating Characters of Cinema

Cheating is hurtful. Whenever someone cheats, the other part will feel humiliated, and that is not different in movies. As we present the romantic comedy, Double Trouble, about a man who keeps two relationships at the same time, we have selected three famous cheating characters in movies.

Connie Summer - Unfaithful

It is common to think that men are the unfaithful ones when it comes to love affairs. It might be an assumption that borders with either machismo or feminism… But Connie Summer is a character that changes such perception. Portrayed by Diane Lane, Connie has an affair with a much younger man in Unfaithful. As soon as she finds herself bored in an emotionless marriage to Edward, she looks outside their relationship for excitement. Connie finds that in Paul Martel and begins a passionate affair with numerous steamy sexual encounters.

Stephen Fleming - Damage

Portrayed by award-winning actor Jeremy Irons, Dr. Stephen Fleming is a top British politician with a penchant for power in all aspects of life. Fleming goes beyond limits in his cheating adventures when he starts sharing a sexual relationship with his son's girlfriend and soon-to-be fiancée. One day, Stephen’s son, Martyn, discovers the affair and stunned, he accidentally falls over a railing to his death. A devastated Stephen soon finds himself isolated by his family and former acquaintances and retreats to a small town in continental Europe.

Diana Murphy – Indecent Proposal

A vixen in every sense of the word, Diane Murphy is played by a talented and sensual Demi Moore. In Indecent Proposal, Diane and her husband buy a dream house to enjoy their years together, but when the recession hits them, they are on the verge or losing everything. To recover some of their money, the couple goes to Las Vegas to try their luck at the roulette tables. Diana is desperate enough for money to accept an "indecent proposal" from a charismatic billionaire named John Gage, but she does not realize the troubles that will come out of the sordid exchange. After a night with Gage, she finds herself questioning the basis of her marriage.
