Born in France, Melissa Mars took her first steps onto the stage at the young age of 13. She has played a wide variety of roles ranging from comedy to drama and has performed works in French, as well as English; most notably, works by Tennessee Williams. A few years later, she made her cinema debut in the Laurent Heynnemann film, One Way Ticket.

At this time, a shift towards music took place and her music career was launched as a singer-songwriter, with three albums released by Universal Music within a few years. Melissa’s passion and talent for music propelled her into the leading role in the hit rock musical Mozart, the Rock Opera, directed by Olivier Dahan, who helmed the Oscar-winning film Ma Vie en Rose. At the same time, Melissa appeared in From Paris with Love alongside John Travolta.

Now heading two very successful careers as both an actress and singer with three studio albums, Melissa Mars is ready for the release of her newest album and is on Eurochannel with a music special presenting the singles that rocketed her to fame.
