Muse - British Music

Airing Times

Eurochannel invites you to enjoy the greatest videos and new music by one of the icons of modern British music: Muse.

Entertainingly bombastic! That’s how we could describe Muse as a studio and live band, and no more words would be needed. But there’s a reason why their music has spread like wildfire across the world. Their catchy tunes are a fusion of progressive rock, glam, electronica, and Radiohead-influenced experimentation crafted by guitarist/vocalist Matthew Bellamy, bassist Chris Wolstenholme, and drummer Dominic Howard.

Formed in the mid-1990s, Muse was a project of friends that by 1994 had changed names three times, performing as Carnage Mayhem, Gothic Plague and Rocket Baby Dolls. When the group won a local battle of bands, it was time to get serious. They rebranded the band as Muse and moved from their hometown, Teignmouth, to start playing in London and Manchester. From 1999 it all went skyrocketing to stardom. Showbiz, Muse’s first album, proved to be a breakthrough in Britain’s music scene.

Since then, Muse has published seven studio albums in total and produced six world tours, where they have consolidated their fan base and gain rock god status. Even Roger Taylor, from the legendary band Queen, described the trio as "probably the greatest live act in the world today."

After obtaining numerous accolades including an MTV Video Music Award, the O2 Silver Clef Award for their performances, two Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album, an American Music Award for Favorite, and many more, Muse are on Eurochannel rocking your world with their mind-blowing hits!
