Over the last decade, the Eurochannel Short Films Tour has been a successful Eurochannel trademark. A unique event, this one-of-a-kind program invites viewers to follow the most gifted directors on an exciting exploration of Europe through the art of the short film. With these filmmakers as guides, viewers discover fascinating stories, culture and entertainment through the eyes of a director. Nearly every European country takes part in this edition of the Eurochannel Short Films Tour ― with each film, broadcast in its original language and subtitled in English, serves as an example of the creativity and dynamism of modern European cinema.

Synopsis:

Following his father’s death, Hasan returns to Cyprus after an absence of many years. As he spends time in his childhood village with his grieving mother and childhood girlfriend, the inner struggle with his identity and the challenge of being in a traditionalist community resurfaces. The pressure to attend the funeral pushes Hasan to confront his past and to search for reconciliation, not only with his family and home, but also with himself.
