They share a great friendship but, after Elisabeth discovers she needs a kidney donor, are still to discover what lies ahead. Suddenly, all in the road rediscovers their enthusiasm for new challenges, and an unlikely chain of events is set in motion with deeply hilarious results.
Park Road is a spin-off feature of the successful TV series of the same name that aired in Denmark between 2009 and 2010. Beyond its universal comedy, the movie deals with more serious themes that lie hidden under the fun and games. “In its own wry way, it's a tribute to community and love: no man is an island and we're strongest together”, as director Mogens Hagedorn described his goal for Park Road.
