In this film, Pauline is the lawyer responsible for defending Alain, a farmer accused of setting fire to his brother’s farm and killing him in the flames.
Under the direction of Philippe Venault (who also directed Palace Beach Hotel and Alexandre’s Law, previously aired by Eurochannel), Pauline’s Law keeps the idea of casting an icon of French acting for the main role. This time Zabou Breitman, a César Award winner in 2003 for Beautiful Memories is the responsible for the protagonist role.

After her divorce, Pauline starts a career as a lawyer (Zabou Breitman). She works in a small town and gets her first case, appointed by the court. She has to defend Alain (Serge Riaboukine), a farmer suspected of having intentionally set fire to his brother’s farm, killing him in the process. She soon finds herself tangled up in the agricultural world with all its dark secrets.
