Eurochannel premieres The Forest Killer, an action thriller that will take you to the deep of Austria to discover how dark the human soul can be. The Forest Killer follows the story of a homicide investigation in rural Austria. When the body of a journalist is found by a group of local hunters in a small town, an investigation is set and two Vienna detectives are sent to investigate the crime. One of them, young investigator Sandra Mohr returns to her hometown with a bad feeling. It all points to one main suspect: Sandra’s half-brother. He still lives at their parent’s house and avoids every responsibility at work. But more distressing, he was accused years ago of raping a woman. All odds are against him and the family! As the investigators try to find the murderer and the plot develops, the movie touches on sensitive subjects like abuse of power, corruption, nepotism and blackmail. It depicts a politician capable of destroying everything and everyone who gets in his way to protect his interests. Eurochannel invites you to discover why sometimes a small town is not necessarily the best example of a peaceful place! Synopsis: |
