Director: Nik Triantafyllidis
Genre: Crime, drama

Being a mafia goon is never easy, but it is even worse when one falls in love with his boss’ daughter or the wrong woman. Eurochannel presents Forbidden Lust, an emotive drama in which romance meets violence in a story of dangerous affairs and ruthless crime.

Forbidden Lust is a movie about blood, and the thirst for both. In the film, Yanis and Hermes are two thugs that flawlessly take care of the dirty business for a lawn-shark and illicit antiquity dealer. However, their lives turn upside down when they make the ultimate mistake in a world of violence and pain: Yanis falls for a hooker while Hermes starts a romance with the boss’s daughter.

A masterfully delivered Greek tragedy, Forbidden Lust is a modern film noir in which the femme fatales lead to the ruin of the main characters –- as fatal as they should be. By mixing tragic romance, violence and dark comedy, the director provides a Shakespearean atmosphere that will drag you deep into the story and develop contrasting emotions for the leading characters as they reveal their true nature.

Eurochannel invites you to plunge into a rollercoaster of feelings and feel the lust, anger, revenge, love and desire of each protagonist of this eye-watering drama… A film that reveals sometimes love is not all we need.

Two young men work for The Master, a loan shark and illegal antiques dealer. They take care of the dirty work but both make the fatal mistake of falling in love, one for a prostitute, the other for his boss’s daughter… Their feelings will prove fatal for everybody!
